One Year of Wedded Bliss

By   Katherine Wilson      7:01 PM

Tom and I went to Asheville, NC for our one year anniversary
yesterday! We drove up early in the morning and arrived a little before
noon. We spent all afternoon looking around in shops on the same
streets we walked on our honeymoon, talking about our wish to
someday move to the area and have kids. Basically life-brainstorming.

After lunch at Tupelo Honey, we walked around some more,
and then stopped off at a double-decker-bus repurposed into a

Over all we had a lovely, beautiful day spending time together and
reconnecting after a pretty hectic and crazy first year!

The beauty of marriage is learning the ins and outs of another person
who isn't going anywhere. Who has committed to loving you for the rest
of their lives and who will share every job and disappointment, every time
of adventure and the comfortable well-known. I hope you all have the joy of
marriage today, or some day. It is truly a gift from the Lord, and a wonderful
mystery. Which means our lives will never be boring as we learn new things
and grow deeply intertwined at the heart in a family focused on the Lord.

Yup. Mushy post. Hope you all are doing well!
