There are some days where there is just so much crashing down on your senses it's overwhelming. Pinterest, facebok, the news, etsy, email updates from all those websites you subscribed to for deals you never redeem... a media barrage of inspiration and options. I mean, you can't even go into a store and pick out tooth paste without having at least twenty options to choose from. Tooth paste is tooth paste! Kill the plaque! Anyway...
There are days I just want to create something, but there are so many endless oportunities and ideas in my pinterest back logs I can't decide! I tote along sketch books and pens and can't even sit down to draw a single thing from the indecision in my head.
I wish I could create some of these effortlessly simple things!
I am totally fine with inspiration, but there are some days where we have to get away from all of the things others have done so we too can create our own pieces. It is a habit, a way of life, and a discipline that develops over time. So pin all you want, but after you have gleaned some ideas, sit back in a mind-quiet place and let your own creativity take place.
Let me know how it goes! I utterly fail at this. My own suggestions don't have a bearing in my life! Sad, ain't it?
